I've been looking at the 745LI and found out about this during a discussion with the salesman. Wish they sold them here! It's as fast and luxurious and any conventional car. The Germans are not taxing BMW on the sales of them for the first five years of production (smart!). Tons of jobs are being created, building facilities for hydrogen distribution (but not eliminating gas). So they still aren't for sale until the basics are in place to make them practical. Gets a range of 125 miles on hydrogen and can use gas for another 310. Cool!

We're Americans. We're smart and capable. We no longer have a president with a strongly vested interest in oil. Let's start getting away from it! Cars are just a part of it. I'm all for solar, wind, nuke and cowfart- technology if it will release us from the grip of the Saudi's.
