Some of these 60's vintage black activists have hatred and suspicion of the police, especially white ones, burned into their soles. Their reactions to them are totally knee jerk and overrides all logic, intelligence or reason. Logic would dictate that you should be HAPPY when a cop shows up at your house when someone reported it was being robbed. Thats what your taxes pay for. Anger should ensue if you call the cops and they never show up. Gates SHOULD HAVE asked the officer to sit down and have a cup of coffee or a soda and thanked him for looking out for his property.
