I am very familiar with the Mises and the Austrian school. I also know
that the Mises website is in the top 20/30 most read websites on
political economy in the world.

The resurgence in interest in his work of this intellectual pygmy is
no mystery at all. Tens of millions of capitalist apologists who
cannot bring themselves to accept the failure of capitalism have
desperately turned to the Austrian school in the hope that a solution
can be found to the current crisis that will see America retain its

something else.
Capitalism is the system in which people are free to use their
private property without outside interference.
Anyone should quickly realize that THIS is not and has not been
in existence for many, many decades .... more than a century.

Capitalism is wrought within inner contradictions that cannot be
resolved, whether you adopt the economic policies of Keynes, Freidman
or Mises. If you really understood political economy, you would know
that Mises proposals not only do not resolve these contradictions but
actually exacerbate them.

response of desperate individuals to blame something for the failure
of capitalism that doesn’t question the viability of this out-lived
