Are you trying to convince yourself you are on to something—or to
convince me? You don’t seem to understand, I read Mises before I read
Marx. I considered Mises to be an ideologue whose theories answered
nothing, provided no understanding. Upon reading Marx, it was obvious
that his theories we grounded in socio-economic realities and that he
was defending the interests of the workers, while Mises was defending
some amorphous bankrupt ideology.

Along with projection now ... you continue to spew the same substanceless
tripe. It is easy to see your endless "Mises is bad and Marx is good because
I claim this to be" rhetoric.

Karl Marx tried to devise an economic system that got
rid of selfishness. The results are well-known. The
Soviet block lagged well behind the West in economic
growth. The people there lived in a police state.
But selfishness, of a type, continued to thrive there.
A Soviet citizen did not get ahead by trading with
others. He prospered by climbing the political ladder
through corruption.
