Unlike some here, I liked Reagan.

Conversely, Bush Jr. was no Reagan. Reagan understood sacrifice, Bush
Jr. only understood good times for the rich and connected, and then
misrepresent their sacrifice as by saying 'they have to watch all this
on TV'...which they most likely were not.
Reagan didn't get the US stuck in quagmire foreign wars. But he did
hit them when they needed hit....a philosophy that would well be
recognized by current leaders or leader wanna-bees.
To even put them in the same category a leader is at best far fetched.

No, in my book Carter and Bush Jr. have about the same incompetency
levels. The personal saving graces of Carter though that Bush Jr. does
not possess is that Carter can actually build things, is a nice guy
and would help you change a flat tire if you had one. I believe Reagan
possessed the same personal qualities. Bush Jr. can do none of those
things nor would he want to.
