Sage2, Here's the difference. The liberals and progressives that are upset with the President are upset because he is NOT LIBERAL ENOUGH , unlike the the conservatives who are pissed that he's TOO LIBERAL. Now, do you REALLY think that liberal and/or progressive is going to vote for a Dick Cheney or Sarah Palin to protest President Obama being not liberal enough. Think again.
They will STILL vote for him, they might well hold their noses while doing so but they sure as shit won't be voting for a right-winger.
