Hey Nominal, I would agree that the majority of the Tea Partiers are white.
As of today, September 17, 2010, so is America, predominately white. I don't agree that the majority of the Tea Partiers are upper middle class, I think that for the most part, it is literally a cross sectional group, from all economic classes; *e.g*.; poor, lower middle class, upper middle class, and rich. I also believe that there are probably close to ten to thirteen percent blacks, and an equal number of Latin/Spanish individuals in the Tea Party, which is representational of what our Nation is today. The "mainstream media" which is clearly biased in this Nation, have done all that they can do to discredit the movement, and then you have outright blatant partisan reporting from the likes of NBC, CBS, the New York Times, (none of which are credible anymore because of their bias) who have done all that they can do to discredit the movement. The problem, and as I have referenced, is that the "mainstream media" has literally attacked the majority of Americans who identify with the Tea Party movement! It isn't rocket surgery here. Most Americans are conservative in their beliefs; wanting a limited government, less taxes, less, "Security"; less, "Nanny State" interference in their lives; a strong economy and a strong national defense. All of which the Democratic Party (which has been infiltrated by Marxists to the point that it is broken beyond repair) stands against.
