"Yup," Derek answered with a nod, flashing his teeth in a grin of mirth and satisfaction as he reached over for the transmission control "Medication is mak'ng me do such odd things. I'll tell them you send your regards and congratulations on their upcoming nuptuals and...oooooooops." He 'accidentally hit the off switch and looked at Alex before shrugging 'innocently' "Damned medication made me do it." Then he got up, small box in hand and grinned, guiding her out "Let's get out of here while the gettin's good, shall we?" With that they headed back downstairs. <<I wanna see your reaction Kim/Alex!! ::grins:: and of course you others hehe... is it Monday yet?>> Alex had just entered the combination on the safe and was having her thumb print scanned whe Derek entered the room. She gave him a disapproving look. "You shouldn't be climbing stairs," she said sternly. When he explained why he had come all the way up here on his own she frowned and added, "we have an intercom you know, you didn't need to come all the way up here." She sighed knowing that once he'd made up his mind it didn't really matter anyway. She watched in amusement as he talked to Sloan, though she was very temepted to tell the Head of the London house that it was probably not the medication making Derek act the way he was, at least not entirely the medication. He behavior toward Sloan was a bit more overt than usually, but not really that different, well maybe a little bit. She carried the other items fromt he safe as she assisted him down the stairs. "Derek, I can't believe you did that," she scolded, though there was a twinkle in her eyes. "Not that I didn't enjoy it, but outright insubordination is a little much don't you think?" She led him back to the living room gently pushing him into a chair. "Am I going to have to tie you down to keep you still," she asked. Alex
