baby shows," she informed him. Well,, she though LaLa was kind of cute, but
she'd never admit it to anyone because kids her age were not supposed to be
watching that. "But I won't tell mommy on you....this time."
Alex was laughing at Derek's description of the parties they'd attended.
"Derek, how much of that stuff did they give," she asked in a teasing voice.
"Nick didn't complain because he wasn't wearing one, don't you recall the
fight that went on before the party? As for Mr. Hawkins," she made a face,
"he was drunk." And she recalled seh couldn't wait to get away from him.
"We did have fun though," she admitted. She hadn't touched her own
sandwich, still feeling very little appetite.
