Soulchaser scanned the area before nodding his head in agreement. "Since
you wounded him, he's having trouble masking himself from me. he can't get
to us without me seeing him coming. I doubt he'll try anything but we
should be carefull about this."
"You'll all need to move quickly and stay close. I'll cover the rear,"
instructed the guardian, knowing the Hunter's habit of striking from
behind.
Julia motioned for the others as they started toward the house. On the way
there she spotted Derek with the children and motioned for them to follow.
Derek got up and got each girl by the hand, following the others in and
looking questioningly at Julia.
"Everything worked out." she answered, keeping it deliberately vague because
of the girls "So we're going to take care of the rest now."
Derek nodded, not really able to do much else considering the girls being
right there and able to hear everything they were saying "It's getting time
for a snack anyway. Girls, have a seat at the table and let me see what we
have available."
He looked at Julia and she nodded, interpreting his look. Call him with an
update; keep him informed.
