The Soulchaser regarded the selection of bread, mayonaise and luncheon meats that
Julia had set out for him. not exactly the type of fare that he was used to, but then
again, there wasn;t a Deli in hell and he was hungry so he set about making a
sandwitch for himself.
It wasn't, by any means, a normal sandwitch as is took half a pack of bologna to fill
the center of it to Soulchaser's satisfaction. He took a big bite of it and suddenly
remembered that he didn't have a beverage. As he chewed the processed meat, he looked
around the kitchen, having left the flask of wine upstairs. His eyes came to rest on
the silver perculator on the counter. He got up to expect it.
During the Soulchaser's long existence, he had bever tasted coffee before, <<No
coffee... that's how they do things in hell>> so he was slightly interested.it
smelled allright so he picked up a porcailin mug and poured himself some.
The Guardian of souls took a sip from the mug. followed by another sip... and then a
big gulp! The stuff was good. He had obviously been missing a few things these past
million years.
