Hey,

I would suggest it might be worth testing using 'ntpdate -q xx.xx.xx.xx'
and looking at the delay number as well as ping - sometimes you will run
across servers that that don't accept pings but have an ntp server running
(or have bad NTP delay despite good ping).

I had a bit of a dig around and found a new servers in the Middle-east that
are included in the pool that may be worth testing:

Iran:

ns1.arianrp.ir

Saudi Arabia:

time1.isu.net.sa
time2.isu.net.sa

Qatar:

gw.qstrs.com

Also some others that may be "close" depending on the connectivity of the
region:

Madagascar:

ntp.malagasy.com

Armenia:

ntp.amnic.net

It may also be worth looking at Greece/Turkey due to the small(ish)
distance across the Med:

Turkey:

ntp1.sibernet.com.tr
ntp.ramtek.net.tr

Greece:

chronos.asda.gr
ntp.asda.gr
ntp.mfa.gr
ntp.databank.com.gr

Hope these help!

Regards,

Oliver Jones
