I did the change around 9pm if I recall correctly? It did correspond
with the uptick on the monitoring graph. Suffered a power loss a moment
ago, which will explain the next dip.

No VM. This is a physical server, specifically a Dell 2650 running
Debian 7. 4. Kernel is 3.2.0-4-686-pae, System has 4GB ram with 2+
generally always available.
