I ran my own test with my account at sagesite.utmb.edu, and had no problem
either popping or sending via SMTP from this site. The message I sent via
the site arrived just fine at it's desination as well. The proposed
alternate SMTP address did not work for me, said I was trying to do an
illegal relay.
