Yeah, we really would like to see support for FreeBSD in GitHub Actions.
Have you had a look at
https://github.com/marketplace/actions/freebsd-vm? While it is perhaps
less efficient than a native BSD runner (which GitHub does not offer),
it seems easy to use and should probably be possible to add to our GHA
scripts without too much of a hassle.
