You're not entirely correct on your first point. As to your 2nd point:
What's the difference between a bit of plagiarized code being
generated by a silicon- vs. a carbon-based entity?

Answer: There is none.

And you missed my point entirely. If I submit a piece of code: How is
anybody to know whether I authored it entirely on my own, employed
the assistance of an LLM/AI, or simply had an LLM/AI generate it
entirely (aka: "vibe-coded")?

Answer: They can't.
