If your company has a policy of no AI generated code and you trust your developers, then you avoid copyright issues. There are no such guarantees with AI: 1) generated code could be a carbon copy of already copyrighted work. 2) in some jurisdictions, AI generated code may not be copyrighted by you nor your company. The same is virtually impossible with AI as it lies to you all the time.
