If you are concerned about performance, then don't turn on verbose
logging. This alone can easily double the load on your disk, and
as we know the disk is often the slowest component in the system.
If your performance still is poor, keep removing main.cf changes
that not absolutely necessary (such as maximal/minimal backoff time
and so on).
If the performance is still poor, report "postconf -n" and qshape
results.
