That's why I suggested a connection id be assigned then, and the message
id be that with a per-message suffix.  This would allow one to find
messages relating to connections, say if there's an ip blacklist going
on.  When someone reports a problem with mail from a given server, I can
grep for the ip address of the server, then re-grep for the connection
ids associated with that address and get everything that was ever logged
about mail from that server.
