Well, users usually interacts with IMAP/POP servers thru their mail client programs. So, it makes sense that Dovecot takes care of the quotas, instead of Postfix. Also, Wietse's suggestion of Dovecot & Postfix with LMTP is just the default I use for new or renewed installations. Fernando Maior
