Any reasonably nearby cache, will suffice. Note that Postfix will run at least 20 processes (if all the mail is to the same destination) and each process only needs to make 5 deliveries a second. Any DNS lookup latency that is substantially below 200ms will do. A LAN DNS server with a 2ms lookup delay is fine. Unbound, bind, ... does not matter. -- Viktor.
