It is possible to avoid a regexp, generic mapping is also subject to
propagate_unmatched_extensions (which excludes "generic" by default).
Therefore, one can use:
generic:
[email protected] [email protected]
and this too will drop the extension in a perhaps more robust way, but
the table needs a lookup key for each user.
