Ok apparently installation of postfix from the port has an issue
I changed mailer.conf as follows
#sendmail /usr/libexec/sendmail/sendmail
#mailq /usr/libexec/sendmail/sendmail
#newaliases /usr/libexec/sendmail/sendmail
#hoststat /usr/libexec/sendmail/sendmail
+---------------------+
#purgestat /usr/libexec/sendmail/sendmail | main
menu |
|
|
sendmail /usr/local/sbin/sendmail | a) leave
editor |
send-mail /usr/local/sbin/sendmail | b) help
|
mailq /usr/local/sbin/sendmail | c) file
operations |
newaliases /usr/local/sbin/sendmail
See how it does
