I notice you've been discussing the possibility of using Active Desktop features. That seems unwise. It is easy to script your own jpg selection (sequential or random) and then convert yourself using nconvert or i_view.

Anyway, Sean has no shell, thus no MS Desktop. Similarly users of alt shells have no MS Desktop routines available. It seems the Windows OS basic wallpaper setting routines, from Control Panel, Appearance, Wallpaper, cannot be using or dependent upon Active Desktop code, because you can set wallpaper even if you have no shell and no Desktop. ------------------------ Yahoo!
