Ithought MRJ 2.2.5 couldn't do higher than JScript 1.2 ???????

JavaScript has nothing whatsoever to do with Java beyond a caffeinated name, and MRJ does not interact with it, nor is it even needed for JavaScript capability.

JavaScript is a separate HTML-based scripting language supported by web browsers, originally developed by Netscape and called JavaScript largely to capitalize on the (then) hot buzz for Java. It's stated purpose was to make interacting with java applets easier, but even so it's merely bridge code, and never was Java per se. I'd wager that 99% of the use of JavaScript in pages never comes near a Java applet.
