Problem is: The 3400c doesn't boot anymore. I have the OS 8.5 in the CD tray, but the PB refuses to boot, not even a sound, well, just a click, that's all.
The PB was disconnected for months, however, it did start a few times while in my care. Now, nothing.
Should I buy a PRAM battery? Is there a Power Supply Board that I could exchange?

Uh oh. In my experience, a clicking sound is mucho-bad, probably indicating a dead (for unknown reasons) motherboard. Fortunately, motherboards are relatively cheap.
