I have a 3400c with 128mb ram battery that is good for 2hrs 6gb hdd perfect screen and it is dead when put together, If I take any part from the bad mac and put it in a know fully working 3400 it is fine ? And I mean any part even took everything from the board and put all the other bits on and it booted fine when I put the second one back together with a known good board NO GO. Every part I have checked works on one book but when the second is put together it is a no go! I have changed the psu around hdd powerboard ram ethernet card monitor cdrom ir board keyboard nothing will get two books working at the same time. I Have no explanation for it. I did get glod for a couple of days then back to nothing.
