It's worth noting that the Mac OS 7.6 HD driver would recognize many non-Apple
HD's, whereas the FWB HD Toolkit was included in PowerComputing CD's to
allow the use of third party HD's not recognized by Apple branded machines
(or Apple supplied Mac OS CD's).

Earlier and later versions of the Mac OS didn't permit this latitude, hence
the supply of a third party HD driver on PCC CD's.
