Hi all, Power Center Pro 604e/210
After reinstalling the Global Village/Teleport software another apparent Applescript icon appeared in the new OS 8.6 Extensions Folder but Get Info says it's part of the Global Software. It is titled "Applescript". The 8.6 installed Applescript Exten. has no as part of the title. So this seems to me to be an elaborate Modem/Fax script extension but when the icon parade happens there is a big red X through the one introduced by the Global Software. I can't get the modem to get past the dialup and "communicating at an unknown rate" stage - so no server connection?? Have gone through all connection settings a dozen times. Should this applescript perhaps be in the folder with all the other modem scripts? Is this script, fax related only? I think I have the switch set to "off" in the Global Teleport Control Panel. I guess if I turned it on I would soon see if the red X disappeared. Thanks for all the help so far too!
