I know that I have to use the CD Rom Toolkit for the installed CD in my PB 180
desktop. My question is....

If I replace the CD ROM with one from a "real" Mac (an old 6400 that bit the dust)
will I still need the PWB toolkit for service and for the drivers or will the PB 180
know that it is an original Mac drive?

I ask this because every now and then the PB doesn't recognize the CD ROM is even
there and I have to run the toolkit to get it to recognize it's existance.

Thanks to all..

Ken Martin

BTW... I am looking for 2 64 Meg ram modules if anyone has some spares for this
machine (168 pin EDO DIMM 60ns or greater)
