Braidwood uses the longer length only.

The longer version is helpful in doing surveys in hard to reach places
and on truck surveys for rad shipments.

The only negative thing, is that in the field, the hi range detector
switches over around 2 R/hr. So when looking for hot spots on trash, it
is required that you pay attention to this limit, so that you don't
underestimate a hot spot (this has not been a problem in plant surveys,
just on trash).

Overall, our techs like this instrument and use it readily. We haven't
had any other similar instruments evaluated.

Subject: Powernet: Telepole

Fermi 2 would like to talk with individuals at your plant that are
knowledgeable about the Mirion Telepole.

There are two pole lengths available. We would like to know:

Who is using the shorter version

What you see as the advantages over the longer version

What feedback (positive and negative) you may have received from
individuals using them in the field.

What your "mix" of shorter verses longer versions is if you use both.

Thanks in advance for your assistance

Brad Krupp
