I was wondering if anyone could supply pictures of any older mirion turnstiles
they may have modified for use with the DMC3000. These would be the "dumb"
units that only check to see if the dosimeter is on prior to entry. The two
options that have been described to me are:
1. Mounting an LDM-320D reader on the turnstile in place of the "Place
Dosimeter Here" plate.
2. If using an LDM-220 under the lid, cutting a hole in the lid at the position
of the LDM-220 and then use a plastic "Place Dosimeter Here" plate to cover the
hole.
We are currently using LDM-210 readers under the lids with the Mirion metal
"Place Dosimeter Here" plate with the DMC2000.
