Yes, I thought of that last night. It was in a desk where it had only a couple of inches of clearance on the top, sides, and back. I took it out of that and put it on the floor. It seemed to make a big difference, but I don't have any hard data. The top of the case was quite warm, now it is only a little warmer than room temperature (according to my touch) and while there is still some hot air coming out the back it seems to be a lot less than it was and only a little more than my other computer.
