L.S., To know the distribution it is as important to know of each exponent if it is prime or definitely not. Therefore we should do our best to concentrate on the lowest unknown exponents. The best way to do that would be to make the move from the v4 server to the v5 server.
Furthermore, just before the summer holiday the number of false reservations of exponents on the v4 server dropped very significantly. That is very likely to have influenced the timing of the discoveries.
