Nita, Thanks for pointing me to the documentation.
So far the main thing I've found I was doing wrong was using a standard network printer driver instead of the one for the specific printer I'm using, and I seem to have to use printmgr to select this printer driver. Once I'd done that, options I didn't know about work correctly. Where exactly in this documentation should I have been able to find this? I've done a search on that page and the word "printmgr" isn't there. I promise I'm not being mean - but I just find that these documents contain lots of information but none of it is ever what I'm looking for. Hope you don't mind my saying that...
