I did what you suggest by hand. The printer is visible through lpstat. The printer is visible through JDS Print Manager utility, so I should be able to see its queue.
If I print from the JDS Text Editor, nothing happens. If I run Star Office, when printing I don't see the new printer on list. Just a generic one. What am I supposed to do with this new printer?! This message posted from opensolaris.org
