I too don't use my shift lens, and do all perspective correction in Photoshop. However, a slightly elevated view of a product, after correcting, looks "squat and fat", and I transform the image to increase the depth. I had always assumed that perspective correction in Photoshop is the same as correcting the verticals in a view camera, but I can't remember any 5x4 product shots looking as dumpy as the digital version. Dear List, mathematically (or geometrically), are they the same?
