I am using a Metz 45CL1 with the SCA346/2AF adaptor and getting good
controllable results with an S2, the separate flash and ambient meter
control on the camera seems very good for fill flash - but I was
shooting RAW files and adjusting exposure in Bibble then 16bit to PS
tweak curves there if necessary... Takes far too long on my machine
though
