Dear Sonya, Yeh the basic differemces from where I am standing are these three differences, 1) slower af 2) slightly slower flash synch (hopefully a full frame nikon will come along with the same spec as the d1x on this front or even up to 1/1000 would transform things again with normal synch) 3) waterproofing. That's seems to me to be it.
