Hi Richard, I'm assuming you're referring to the Epson 2450 flatbed scanner? I agree that profiling scanners is a good idea; however, I'm not sure the 2450 is of a high enough quality to warrant a custom profile. It's really a prosumer product that doesn't provide the high end results you may be seeking and hoping to achieve with a custom profile. I demoed the 2450 about 6 months ago in my studio for about a mnth, and was duly impressed with the quality for quick work, but certainly would not rely on it for any work I would want to sell, IMHO.
