In the early days the back up was shocking, and we were paying, for example, £460 (I think it was) a month contract to have same day call out support if the back failed.
per camera? 24 hour call out..... but not always 24hr repair? Aye
This would be a good forum to share current information. My Sinarbacks, the oldest of which I've had for three years have never gone wrong and happily we've never dropped one either, so although I can't comment on dealer service, I can praise their reliability.

Imacon 3020's getting on for 3 yrs with no mechanical problems on the multishot (Alan did ask) and theyre on 5 days a week for 8 hrs a day. N>B spraymount is not good for the fan.
One was dropped hard enough to make the chip about 3mm out of line, and repaired in about 2 weeks.
The Studio Workshop have given excellent service over the last 4-5 yrs and talking to the chaps over that time, some of the problems, mine included, are occasionally due to mac or operator error..amazingly easy to have a layout resting on a key....(often sorted via a post 5.30 pm phone call)..so I'm happy to recommend them.
