A very good afternoon to all,

I think it was Bill who asked why would anyone want to
convert jpeg files to tiffs. My reason (as the one
who posted the original 'How to..?' post) is that I
originally saved the scans as jpegs and now want to
put them into Poerpoint, but it would seem not to
accept the jpeg format. I've used tiffs in PP with no
trouble, so thought that format may be the way to go.

I have got a lot to do, is there a quicker to
re-format them as tiffs without having to open them up
in PS. (I don't have Image Ready)

This is interesting. Is it right? If images started
out theirlives as jpegs, but you need to make changes
many times is the tiff format lossless for the whole
duration?

I'd be really interested to know. Can someone answer
this query?

TIA
Christina,
in an incredibly hot Toledo, first summer here, not
sure I can hack it!!
