If a RIP program would be the better choice, can anyone recommend one over another? Any insights wold be most appreciated.
Dear Benjamin
You may want to look at the Best ColorProof rip www.bestcolor.de
They have got their software sorted (just the odd thing wrong nothing major), and the handbook is half decent too! You will need it set-up for you together with the papers you choose or you will not get the excellent results it is capable of producing, and it will totally frustrate you.
If you are in the UK try Andy Huxley <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> He fully understands this software and takes a huge amount of trouble in getting it really right....not cheap but we were totally delighted with the results. I understand that he is only available to support the products his company sells, so he is not available for your normal profiling work. For that I recommend Neil Barstow who is just is picky and well known here!
Cheers
