HERE IS THE ADVICE FROM MANUFACTURER: The white spot you are seeing is mostly due to aperture grill defect or you have an impurity present. There are several things that you should try to get rid of the dot.
1. Restore the factory defaults for the monitor and leave it on for 24 on a plain white screen. This will not burn in the monitor however it does heat up the CRT in an effort to loosen the aperture grill and burn out any impurities. 2.
