Bob,

What about DVDs? The 1Ds files are so big that I've moved over to DVDs. I
get ones made by Verbatim, which seems to be a pretty reputable brand
(they're 1.00 each if you buy 50).

There are far cheaper DVDs available. If anyone can recommend a cheaper
brand it would be good to hear about it.

The downside is that it takes a lot longer to access the files on the DVD.
The upside is that there are a few less silver discs to look through when
searching for a file.

And Bob, in reply to your reply about sharpening, what setting would you
recommend in C1 for 1Ds files? I had a quick play with the Pixelgenius
sharpening tools. The 'capture sharpening' seemed to be extremely strong.
My trial ran out before I could do many tests, so feedback from you on this
would be gratefully received.

Kind regards
