I hate to say it, but I reckon it is just Canon printers. I had one a couple of years ago, the definition etc. was fine, but colours were terrible. I tried drivers from Canon's sites around the world, and in the end it went up in the loft where it is still!
I have gone over to HPs new 9650 and 5550 using their own paper & cartridges. Expensive to run, but fantastic quality. I always print from Corel Draw 10 and not Photoshop.
All the best, John

I'm using Windows XP, Photoshop 7 and a Canon 10D.
Now I have problems to get the right colours printed on my Canon i9100 I take my pictures in aRGB on my Canon and turned every colour management in Photoshop 7 off. When I print my pictures they are always very vage. There are no vivid colours.
My monitor is calibrated and installed as default profile in Windows XP.
What profile should I use for my printer? And what as working profile in Photoshop, also aRGB??
Are there somewhere ICC profiles for this printer?
Thanks al lot, Kind regards
