Help...I have a strange problem with Photoshop 7. With an image open...when I try to create a new adjustment layer (eg.curves,levels etc)...it does not open..but goes under background layer in the layer box. This freezes photoshop....cannot open any of the tools and I have to force shot down photoshop. I have wiped photoshop off my hard drive and reinstalled it a number of attemps....but still does not work. The auto level and auto colour work....work however..this is before attempting a new layer.
Any suggestions??
