If you happen to have a Minolta Autometer IV F, the manual suggests that using ISO 100 and the flat disc diffuser, EV 3.7 equals 32 lux, and 4.7 equals 64 lux (well, 33 and 65 , actually.) There's a table in the back of the manual for all of the interim values.
The formula they give is: Lux = 2(raised to the power of the EV) X 2.5 So an EV of 3 would be 2X2X2 = 8 X 2.5 = 20 lux. How you figure 2 to the point-somethingth power is simply beyond my ken. --------------- Jay Busse Photo Illustrators =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
