I am scanning a set of photos of water color paintings which the artist wants to reproduce as limited edition inkjet set (ie reproductions/legal forgeries).
...Interesting issue is the reproduction of paper texture of the original painting - - issue being that this data does not necessarily want to be included in the inkjet version (which will have its own texture and paper base color)

Too late now, but in the future you could use very soft lighting so as not to so obviously pick up the paper structure.....but I expect you have already realized that!
