Sure - actually the repro is really good in this case but I am talking really about really fine limits for cutting edge reproduction


there is always some paper color and texture even were one to shoot soft and shadowless through a beamsplitter mirror ( paper fibre variations and depth of fibres)

that might well come out as nothing more than a cast at low rez - but it strikes me that this cast removal may actually bias the color of the paint info

....eventually will find out when comparing originals side by side with copies when we get to that stage
